Drain Board 6000
Aussie Drain Board 6000 is a prefabricated HDPE drainage composite designed to protect waterproofing systems and manage subsurface water around building foundations. It consists of an impermeable HDPE sheet formed into a high-flow dimpled drainage core, which is bonded to a layer of nonwoven polypropylene filter fabric. This configuration allows water to pass into the drainage system while retaining soil particles, providing hydrostatic relief and conveying collected water to appropriate collection systems.
Where to Use
- Foundation walls
- Retaining walls
- Planters
- Roof gardens
- Bridge abutments
- Under slabs
Key Features
- High Compressive Strength — Withstands up to 15,000 psf, ensuring durability under heavy loads.
- Efficient Water Flow — Provides a flow rate of 21 gpm/ft under a hydraulic gradient of 1, effectively managing water drainage.
- Soil Retention — The nonwoven filter fabric retains soil particles while allowing water to pass through, preventing clogging.
- Versatile Application — Suitable for both vertical and horizontal installations in various construction scenarios.
Material
- Sheet-Applied Product (HDPE drainage core with nonwoven polypropylene filter fabric).
