Aussie Swell Red 940
AVM Aussie Swell® Red is a hydrophilic strip waterstop composed of a formulated blend of sodium bentonite and butyl rubber. This active waterstop reacts upon contact with water, swelling within its confinement to self-inject into localized voids and minor fissures. The swelling action creates a watertight seal within concrete construction joints, effectively resisting hydrostatic pressure and preventing water passage through the joint. Designed to replace passive PVC or rubber waterbars, Aussie Swell® Red eliminates the need for pre-formed intersections, split forming, or seam welding.
