Aussie Clay PL
Aussie Clay PL is a high-performance, heavy-duty bentonite composite waterproofing membrane. It consists of a thick layer of active sodium bentonite (approximately 1 lb/sq.ft. or 4.8 kg/m²) encapsulated between two durable geotextile fabrics—one woven and one non-woven—needle-punched together to form a strong, stable composite. A polyethylene (poly) liner is bonded to the non-woven side to increase the membrane’s overall waterproofing performance and vapor impermeability. Upon hydration, the sodium bentonite swells, forming a dense, low-permeability barrier that self-seals minor cracks and penetrations.
