Drain Board 9000
Aussie Drain Board 9000 is a prefabricated drainage composite designed to protect waterproofing systems and manage subsurface water on horizontal surfaces. It consists of a heavy-duty, impermeable polymeric sheet formed into a high-flow dimpled drainage core under heat and pressure. This core is bonded to a layer of woven filter fabric, which retains soil or sand particles as well as freshly placed concrete or grout, allowing filtered water to pass into the drainage core. The collected water is then conveyed to a proper collection system.
Where to Use
- Foundation walls
- Retaining walls
- Planters
- Roof gardens
- Bridge abutments
- Under slabs
Key Features
- High Compressive Strength — Withstands up to 21,000 psf (1005 kN/m²), ensuring durability under heavy loads.
- Efficient Water Flow — Provides a flow rate of 21 gpm/ft under a hydraulic gradient of 1, effectively managing water drainage.
- Soil Retention — The woven filter fabric retains soil particles while allowing water to pass through, preventing clogging.
- Versatile Application — Suitable for various horizontal applications, including planters, roof gardens, and under slabs.
